Intertain Signs Four Year Agreement with CBC-Galaxie to Deliver an Innovative Retail Radio Music Service in Canada

Ottawa, ON and Winnipeg, MB – Intertain Media Inc., a division of OMT Inc. (TSXV: OMT), today announced the signing of a 4-year exclusive agreement with CBC to offer Galaxie Music for Business content to retailers and commercial businesses in Canada.

As part of the agreement, Intertain will be responsible for sales, content delivery, and service while CBC-Galaxie will be responsible for music content, licensing, and programming. This partnership combines the strengths of both companies. Galaxie, CBC’s Continuous Music Network, brings an extensive music library and considerable music programming expertise, which has successfully attracted over 4.5 million subscribers to their residential pay audio consumer music offering.
Intertain brings the infrastructure and its 35 years of experience in audio delivery and service to radio and satellite broadcasters around the world.

Combining the unique Galaxie Music for Business content and programs with the flexibility of the Intertain platform delivers a true Retail Radio customized service. Clients can create their own audio environments that include music to entertain consumers and promotional messages to increase sales. Clients can choose from over 100 professionally programmed channels, have a unique channel programmed for them by Galaxie experts, or even build their own channel by accessing content through a secure Internet connection.
